Somsijoin Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic (hereinafter referred to as ‘the clinic’) informs you about how the video information processed by the clinic is used and managed through the operation and management policy of video information processing devices.

1. Basis for Installation and Purpose of Video Information Processing Devices

The clinic installs and operates video information processing devices for the following purposes in accordance with Article 25(1) of the Personal Information Protection Act.

• Facility safety and fire prevention

• Crime prevention for customer safety

2. Number of Installations, Installation Locations, and Shooting Range

3. Management Responsible Person and Access Rights

To protect your video information and address complaints related to personal video information, the following personal video information protection officer is designated.

4. Shooting Time, Retention Period, Storage Location, and Processing Method of Video Information

• Processing Method: Record and manage matters regarding the use outside the purpose of personal video information, provision to third parties, destruction, and requests for viewing, and permanently delete in a way that cannot be restored after the retention period expires (for printouts, they will be shredded or incinerated).

5. Matters Related to Commissioning the Installation and Management of Video Information Processing Devices

The clinic commissions the installation and management of video information processing devices as follows, and specifies necessary matters to ensure that personal information is safely managed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations during the commissioning contract.

6. How to Check Personal Video Information and Where

• Method of Confirmation: You can confirm by contacting the person responsible for managing video information in advance and visiting the clinic.

• Confirmation Location: Reception

7. Measures Regarding Requests for Viewing Personal Video Information by Data Subjects

You may request the operator of video information processing devices to view, confirm existence, or delete your personal video information at any time. However, this is limited to personal video information that clearly pertains to your urgent life, body, or property interests. The clinic will take necessary actions without delay if you request to view, confirm existence, or delete your personal video information.

8. Measures to Ensure the Safety of Video Information

The video information processed by the clinic is securely managed through passwords and other measures. In addition, as a management measure for the protection of personal video information, the clinic differentiates access rights to personal information and records the creation date and time of personal video information, as well as the purpose, viewer, and viewing time when accessed, to prevent alteration or forgery of personal video information. Furthermore, locking devices are installed for the safe physical storage of personal video information.

9. Changes to the Personal Information Processing Policy

This policy for the operation and management of video information processing devices was established on April 1, 2024. In case of any additions, deletions, or modifications to the content due to changes in laws, policies, or security technologies, the reasons for the changes and the content will be announced at least 7 days before implementation on the clinic's website or in-house postings.
